With YourStory™, you can bind your most important photos, memories, stories or keepsakes in just a matter of minutes.
Step 1
Print your pages or photos and place them in the spine of the album cover.
Step 2
Plug in the YourStory Book Binder and Laminator. Press the power button. Press the up arrow and wait for the power button to turn green (approximately 3 minutes).
Step 3
Place the album cover, spine down, into the YourStory Book Binder and Laminator. Push the cover down until the spine touches the heating element. Press the up arrow again. It will blink. Allow the album to rest freely while binding (do not hold). When you hear a beep and the up arrow no longer blinks, the binding process is complete (takes just over 1 minute).
Step 4
Remove album cover from heating element and place it spine down in the cooling rack. Allow album to cool 5 minutes or pages may become loose.
Note: If a page is loose after binding is complete, simply repeat the binding process and ensure all pages are all the way down into the spine. Binder will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of dormancy.
Warning: Binding element remains hot even when laminating feature is engaged. Keep hands away from heating element.
YourStory Laminator
Laminating Instructions
With YourStory™, you can laminate your most important photos, memories, stories or keepsakes in just a matter of minutes.
Step 1
Plug in the YourStory Book Binder and Laminator. Press the power button. Press the down arrow and wait for the power button to turn green (approximately 5 minutes).
Step 2
Open a laminating pouch and center your item inside. Close the pouch.
Step 3
Gently feed the hinge side of the pouch into the laminating slot in the machine. The machine will grab the pouch and pull it through (approximately 1 minute). Allow pouch to come out the back of the machine”do not pull.
Step 4
If desired, trim around laminated item, leaving a 1/8" border of plastic to ensure a proper seal.
Note: Do not force pouch into the machine or pull it out of the machine. Allow machine rollers to gently carry item through laminating process. Laminator will turn off 30 minutes after being engaged.
Warning: Binding element remains hot even when laminating feature is engaged. Keep hands away from heating element.
